John Chapter 1828 Then they led Jesus from the house of Caiaphas to the governorās headquarters. It was early morning. They themselves did not enter the governorās headquarters, so that they would not be defiled, but could eat the Passover.29 So Pilate went outside to them and said, āWhat accusation do you bring against this man?ā30 They answered him, āIf this man were not doing evil, we would not have delivered him over to you.ā31 Pilate said to them, āTake him yourselves and judge him by your own law.ā The Jews said to him, āIt is not lawful for us to put anyone to death.ā32 This was to fulfill the word that Jesus had spoken to show by what kind of death he was going to die. Luke Chapter 231 Then the whole company of them arose and brought him before Pilate. Mark Chapter 151 And as soon as it was morning, the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole Council. And they bound Jesus and led him away and delivered him over to Pilate. Matthew Chapter 271 When morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death. |
