"Your Will Be Done," Jesus Praying in Gethsemane
Artist/Photographer: Linda Lovett
Image ID: lmlas0011
Description: After the Last Supper, Jesus went to pray in Garden of Gethsemane for the Father to take away the cross from him. Three times he prayed but always was obedient to the Father's will, saying "Not my will, but yours." He had a chance to walk away from it all, but he chose not to disobey. The real temptation and battle with Satan was fought and won here. Easter lilies bloom in anticipation of his resurrection.
