Description
A vast wilderness mountain range rises beyond a dark desert foreground, its ridges touched by the low light of dawn or dusk. The open, unpeopled landscape evokes the high places of the biblical wilderness and the view from Mount Nebo, where Moses was shown the land promised to Israel before his death. In Deuteronomy 34:1-3, the Lord reveals Gilead, Judah, the Negeb, and the plain of Jericho from the heights opposite the promised land. The barren hills and distant peaks serve as a contemplative setting for themes of pilgrimage, covenant promise, wilderness testing, and the faithfulness of God at the edge of fulfillment. Suitable for teaching on Moses, the Exodus journey, the Promised Land, and Old Testament geography.
