A rowdy crowd came with swords and clubs. Peter brought a sword down on the head of Malchus, lopping off his right ear. The man yelled in agony but Jesus touched the wound, healing it at once.
50 And one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear.51 But Jesus said, “No more of this!” And he touched his ear and healed him.
