Most Holy Place

The inner sanctuary opens behind richly patterned curtains embroidered with golden cherubim, revealing the Ark of the Covenant beneath the radiant presence of God. The mercy seat is overshadowed by outstretched wings, while the tablets of the covenant, the golden jar of manna, and Aaron’s budding rod rest within the sacred chest.
