Spring Sunset, Northern Galilee

The Sea of Galilee - a place peace and beauty and at times a place of violent storms. Jesus taught and performed miracles of healing and provision in and around this lake. He was there to meet people’s needs when the weather was fine. But He was also there, stilling the storm, walking on water during violent conditions to save his disciples from drowning in the dark. And today, He has said, ‘I am with you always!’ In the good times and also when our boat is sinking. This is one of the paintings that were inspired by a time my wife and I spent in Israel.
