The Peace of God

This is painting follows on from my ‘Don’t Worry!’ painting. As I read Philippians 4v7 I had a mental picture of the person who represents you and I, claiming and receiving the peace of God, which comes down over them like a surrounding mantle, or, soft snowflakes of light. I believe this is more than a passing feeling. God wants us to experience a deep, heart peace from Him, that shields our emotions and our minds, independent of surrounding circumstances and crises. Ideally, this picture should be hung as a sequel, next to the ‘Don’t Worry’ subject.
