We bought the brass coffee pot in Israel. To me, it had a masculine, medieval look. I kept it for years, feeling that one day it could be part of a significant painting. Children, like the cups of various sizes, filled our lives. Then, suddenly, they were grown up and gone. Our home is mostly quiet now. We look on and watch our children pouring themselves into the grandchildren… We see a timeless truth. - They are passing on what they took in.
